Biographical Information
I am a 2003 graduate of Orrville High School.  I served four years in the United States Army.  Stationed at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, I deployed both to Iraq and Afghanistan as an infantryman.  In 2008 I returned to Ohio, and resumed classes at the University of Akron as an Economics major.  In May 2011 I will commission as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army with a branch of Infantry.  I enjoy spending free time with my friends and family.

Educational Objectives

I will graduate May 7th 2011 with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Military Science.  After finishing my B.A. degree I plan to pursue a graduate degree in Economics.  I will seek graduate education between my platoon leadership and company command.  If possible I will join the Army functional field of economics.

As a leader in the United States Army I will attend BOLC-B, Basic Officer Leadership Course, in the branch of Infantry at Fort Benning Georgia.  I plan on attending the U.S. Army Ranger School and Path Finder.  Following formalized military schooling, I will be stationed at Fort Benning with Third Brigade, Third Infantry Division.

Career Objectives

In the Spring of 2011 I will commission as an active duty Infantry lieutenant.  My initial career objectives include command time at the platoon and company levels.  Within the Army there are functional fields to include economics.  In the longer term, as a captain I plan on pursuing economics within the Army.
