Who Am I?
My name is Isabelle Shauna Allman and I am currently an Undergraduate student at the University of Akron.  I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics in the Arts and Sciences College. I am currently declared Pre-Law. After being a Political Science major for a year, I made the wise decision to add a second economics major. I added the additional economics degree because it produces the highest LSAT scores on average and after completing a Microeconomics course, I found I have a knack for it. Adding Economics has been one of the best decisions I have made as a college student. I plan on graduating in May of 2015 but an additional semester may be needed since I am a double major.

My Educational Objectives

I plan on completing both of my Bachelor’s with Honors and within four or five years. This will look really good on applications to law school as well as being in a timely fashion. After getting my Bachelor’s with Honors, I want to attend the Ohio State University to complete my Law Degree. As of right now I have joined numerous clubs, including Pre-Law and College Democrats to help better prepare me for the real world. By the time I take my LSAT and bar exam, I will be fully prepared and get very good scores.

My Career Objectives

Due to my argumentative and inquisitive nature, I have always wanted to be a lawyer. From the time I have been just a little kid, I have always aspired to become a prosecuting attorney at a big law firm or starting my own law firm. Then after working at a firm for an adequate amount of time, I plan on running for some kind of office or working for a campaign. If I run for office, my economics degree will greatly help me to understand how the economy works and to be more prepared to come up with plans to fix today’s problems.
