About Me
My name is Patrick Carabin. I was born and raised in Medina, Ohio.  I attended Archbishop Hoban High School, from which I graduated in 2012.  After graduation, I chose to attend Xavier University in Cincinnati.  After two years at Xavier, I transferred to the University of Akron.  Currently, I am an Economics Major and Financial Services Minor.  I am a member of the Economics Club and Phi Delta Theta Fraternity.   Outside of school, I have many interests and hobbies.  All of my life I have enjoyed studying history and visiting historical sites.  I am also a very active person. In high school, I played football and lacrosse, and I love to play basketball recreationally whenever I have the chance.  Ohio State football and Xavier Basketball are my two favorite teams to watch.  I love listening to music, and have played steel drums and piano in the past.  My favorite author is Dan Brown.

Education Goals
I am currently working on completing my undergraduate studies at the University of Akron.  Upon graduation I plan to join the workforce, although I cannot rule out the possibility of attending graduate school at some point in the future.  While I am in school I am dedicated to learning as much as I can.  I am thankful to have been exposed to a diverse curriculum and am committed to gaining pertinent real world experience through my work in retail and service oriented employment.   I have enjoyed my time in college but am very much looking forward to beginning my professional career.

Career Goals
Upon graduation, I will be open to working in a variety of different fields.  Economics has broad applications, so I believe it is important to keep my options open.  I am hoping to work in retail banking, wealth management, corporate finance, or in the field of healthcare.  I am seeking internships that will provide me opportunities to better understand the intricacies of each career.
