This is the portfolio for Richard Rader, a student at the University of Akron

Who I am...

My name is Richard Rader, and I am currently a junior at the University of Akron studying toward a B.S. in Labor Economics, with minors in business
and history. Outside of my academics, I am an active, successful leader and participant in the University's intramural sports programs.

I am originally from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida but moved to Olmsted Falls, Ohio where I was raised since I was six years old. While in high school, I
maintained a high GPA while being heavily involved in atheltics where I participated in football, wrestling, and baseball. Some of my interests include aviation,
history, astronomy, Cleveland sports, and Buckeye football.

My Career Goals...

Following the Fall 2015 semester, I am applying for a Naval Aviation slot at Officer Candidate School in Newport, Rhode Island. If accepted, I intend
on serving for about 20 years, then getting involved in national security, private aviation, or politics.

My Educational Objectives...

As of the end of the Fall 2015 semester, I will be halfway through my junior year of university. My projected date of graduation is December 2016 with Honors
with a Bachelor of Science in Labor Economics, a minor in Pre-MBA studies, and a minor in history. One of my major goals, along with graduating a semester early,
is maintaining a record of academic excellence where I have goal of a 3.6+ GPA. At some point in the future, I would like to obtain a masters degree in
in something government related from an elite university such as the John F. Kennedy School of Government or the Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
